"Sow the Seed" would like your students to participate in an inquiry project like no other. We want students to discover, learn, and come up with creative and innovative ideas for the primary sector in Aotearoa New Zealand.

...and we will do this with MINECRAFT!

We have recreated one of New Zealand's first farms, Totara Estate, in Minecraft, ready to be downloaded and explored. Totara Estate, a Heritage property, was the first farm to export frozen meat in 1882, from Port Chalmers, Dunedin to the United Kingdom. This was the beginning of New Zealand's now multi-billion dollar meat export market.
